I lived in Makassar for almost 4 years because I studied there. I’m not originally from Makassar but for me, this city is my second home and will be always my favorite city to spend my good time. My favorite place is Losari Beach since the sunset is really awesome. I always make free time to go to Losari Beach every afternoon by jogging from home. As a person who is crazy for nature, I’m so amazed by enjoying the gorgeous view of this city before sunset or even during sunset.
One of the famous tourist attractions in this place is floating mosque in the Losari Beach. This mosque is really beautiful and awesome.
It’s not only Makassar. Not so far from Makassar, there is another tourism place known as Malino highland where Pine Forest & Bride Waterfall located. Then, Bantimurung, the kingdom of butterflies is such a cool place as well to visit. Make sure if you had any chance to visit Makassar anytime in the future, do not forget to try Coto Makassar, Palu Bassa, Palu Marra, Pisang Epe, Pisang Ijo. Trust me those dudes will make you come back again to this stunning city.
